Question: I feel light headed--can hear my heart beat and ears ring. I have been on vacation for 3 weeks in Col. would change of altitude cause this? I have been home 3 days

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Light headedness with ringing in ear may be due to migraine like headache episode aggravated by exertion and vacation trip.
It may have been precipitated by change in altitude, food habits and sleep disturbances.
If you don't have any vomiting , fever or any other deficit then be assured nothing to worry about.
Take rest and some pain killers like acetaminophen or paracetamol.
consult a doctor if symptoms persists.
