Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

Loose motions is due to either viral infection or bacterial infection or malabsorption.

In your case I feel it is due to either viral infection or bacterial infection. If it is due to viral infection then it will last for 2-3 days and stops by itself . But in your case it seems like it has lasted for more than 2-3 days ( you haven't mentioned since how many days you have loose stools ).

So I presume it to be bacterial infectin. Hence I would advise you to get the following tests done and revert back .

Stool Culture Sensitivity test, Stool for Hanging drop preparation.

Also get a prescription for an Antibiotic ( Preferably Doxycycline ) from your doctor and use it .

Make sure you hydrate yourself well by drinking plenty of water and fruit juices.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

Regards.
