Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Appetite, Nightmares And Excessive Shaking Of The Body
Question: I have a medical problem right now and I feel that some of the medicines may be adding to my problems. I have Lyme Disease and Fibromyalgia. Here are the medications that I take:
FUROSEDMIDE; AMLODOPINE; SERTRALINE; SINGULAIR; DULERA; METOPROLOL; LOSARTAN; JANUVIA; LANTUS INSULIN; GABAPENTIN; DOXYCYCLINE; DULOXETINE; ALLOPURINOL; AND WHEN THE PAIN GETS REALLY BAD I TAKE 1 HYDROCODONE.
I have a great deal of shaking; pain, nightmares that are horrible; appetite loss;. What do you think?

Brief Answer:
duloxetine plus sertraline may cause problems
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
I do not see a lot of drug interactions here but the combination of the duloxetine and sertraline could be a problem. It could be causing the appetite loss, the shakes and bad dreams. The combination of duloxetine and gabapentin is great for fibromyalgia so I would not stop the duloxetine. Perhaps you could talk to your doctor about tapering down the sertraline. If you need more antidepressant action, it may be possible to increase the duloxetine (depending upon your current dose).
The rest of the drugs look fine.
I hope you get some relief soon,
