You needs some lifestyle modifications
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.
Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if you have already been through alot. Staying busy in such circumstances may be good but the working hours you have mentioned are far beyond to be tolerated specially with the history you have regarding PTSD and other hospitalisations, you need to take sometime out for recreations and other activities.
Boredom is explanable in such circumstances. Hanging out with friends, taking out time for travel and exploration by taking off for few days would be another option. Joint groups for discussion and other social activities, may act like group therapy for you. Taking time out for sports can bring more peace in your life.
Since due to some unavoidable circumstances you can't join anesthesia so it doesn't need to be over thought, however keep trying to get a place into your favorite profession where you felt comfortable. Meanwhile keep a close liason with the psychiatrist for medical therapy after careful session with you.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
I do miss the nurses who were so kind the patients......try to forget but they were very impressive........not saying I have expectations......just wish people knew abut them and of course honor them.......however I know they only wish well for their patients and want no recognition......and not allowed.........somewhat frustration.
You are full of optimism and postive energies

Thanks for such encouraging remarks and such a detailed observation. I must tell you, that that is quite a job which you are doing. Working with so called disabled people as people call them, but I would rather say, those are special people and so are you. It is nice that you have quote few friends among them. Your appreciation remarks about doctors and medical professionals is quite encouraging and only an optimistic person can realise the contributions of others in the life around him or her so you have got a kind heart I must say. You just need to keep up the good work and stay busy but take out time for yourself and for recreation always as continuous work may not exhaust you and may not trigger the symptoms of PTSD or bipolar disorder from your gone past. Meanwhile keep close liason with the psychiatrist to discuss any odd symptoms which come up so that those can be dealt with in time. Wishing you a great life ahead. Best regards.
Keep up the good work and keep taking out time for yourself

Hi! Thanks again for such an overwhelming response. I am deeply humbled the way you have appreciated all the doctors and medical professional. I am also thankful for your encouraging remarks about me. I hope I can live upto that mark allways when it comes to giving time and listening to my patients. These remarks are indeed not only encouraging, but these also impart huge sense of repsonbility to always keep up with the expectations of the patients no matter how the circumstances are. I would just say here that beauty lye in viewers eye. In our clinical practice we come across thousands of patients but only at very few incidences, we come across such people who have a nice sense of observation and ability to appreciate and willing to give due credit to the others. It's no wonder that nature has chosen you for such a sacred job and you are taking care of other special people too. I would urge you to continue and keep up the good work but do take some time out on regular basis for recreation as it will enhance your working abilities and passion for the work and also gives peace of mind and stability. You can allways stay in touch and in case of any more queries you can consult me directly through my profile. Wishing you a great life ahead. Best regards.
trust me when a person is manic or upset..........they may be on four levels but at some level......they can hear a kind patient tone and want to comply and not hurt that person.......versus the angry resident who is just mad at you for wasting her time..........you can hear it all.........I am sure you know that but......patients are not trying to be upset anymore than having a fever......it is just a biochemical state........and the kind paitnet person....with calm tones........you ............do.............remember.............almost forever.......
it okay mr grizzly bear I know you wont hurt me ...come right this way....
where on earth do you find such insightful people
to the ends of the earth and then some.........clone those people........the morphine of the soul....no one wants to be upset.......no one wants to hurt clincians and espe nurses..........I carry an neck band that says.........protect all nurses........hopefully if I ever go south........someone wiil read it......
I personally think we all should sign a non violent pact towards medical people and nurses...........then they need not be in fear........that is just my two cents.........you may be in a better position to get this done than I am. best wishes and thank you.
It's their duty and I am thankful than you appreciate that so warmly

Hi! Thanks for such a nice and detailed answer. I must say I am impressed by the way you said..fever can be a biochemical state but being patient is a state of mind and that can only be cured by a kind councelling. Sometimes you learn from the people who meet you for a very short period of time and for me, it was a lesson of a lifetime.
I also appreciate the way you think beyond the stereotypes. Usually people criticise some flaw in a system while ignoring the root cause and state of mind of people working in such tough circumstances and still managing to keep up an retain level of poise.
Being gentle may be part of their duty buy staying that way while managing their own lives and issues, and keeping their own selves aside, when it comes to their patients is indeed a tough ask, and those manage to do so on consistent basis, deserve that little admiration. And people like you who are allways willing to give a handful of that are indeed source of big encouragement and a source to spread these postive energies.
May you be blessed with loads of such energies and to carry on with the same theme about life. I wish you a very healthy and helpful life ahead. You are allways willing to share your problems in future and you can contact me through my profile in targeted queries those I would wish you may not need to consult a doctor that frequently, and you stay as healthy as always, and equally considerate and loving. Best regards.
I am glad certain doctors and hospitals treat the whole patient.......giving them crafts and other things to help them forget about the environment and discomforts and pain.........not leaving people alone with pain........very wise and estute.........helps block things out.........I really admire people who are creative about minimizing pain and getting people involved in activities and groups.........bes wishes in your practice........I am sure your family must be very be.proud of you.....and if not they should be - very kind of you to return my email . I thank you greatly.
Extending the gratitude for such reviews

Hi! Thanks for such a detailed answer and sorry for catching you up a little late. I would like to admit here, that more interaction I have with you, more I get to admire you.
I am greatly impressed by your observation skills and the way you assess the things deeply and not superficially. You must have had a very nice and educated backround as is suggestive by your writings and perception of things. Their are only few out their out of general population who are blessed with such talents to perceive things deeper than others and to get into others shoes to understand their point of view and how are they managing the things at their end.
I must admit that, I got to learn this from your writings as at times while dealing with day to day issues one tends to lose a little temper while seeing things gone wrong without even thinking or feeling the frame of mind the other person is going through while dealing with you. One word that encompasses it all is 'empathy' and that is a basic in our field but since most of the medical professionals are over worked and thus often mild disturbances of usual interaction with patients does take place around us buy I am sure none of them is related to their work as almost all professionals grade their work as their prime responsibility but while dealing with the work load at times some patients may feel as if they haven't been given ample time but I am sure that is never intentional.
And you are also very right about the other stressers like strict check and balance and everything and it is almost unavoidable for every doctor to face all these pressures simultaneously and that can be only be accomplished once a person is selfless and always willing to give his full energy, commitment and time to his or her profession with passion as this is virtually impossible to proceed in this all without passion about this profession and passion to help others beyond everything.
Lastly, after reading your reviews and conversatio, I would urge you to utilise this talent of yours I'm writing articles for magazines or for online blogs. This would be a very good use of your talent, and your observation a kills and to help to extend and share your perceptions with others.
Wishing you a superb life ahead. Best regards.
kindest and best regard

I have worked with many technicians and veterinarians at many hospitals. Some are very unpleasant and challenging and others......transformed the hospital and everyone rightly circled around them and privately tried to support and even protect tbhem against the stupidities of life. I suggest that you are a good and kind doctor very much and it need not that one has to be a pure harmony and love every moment of every day.......that is impossible standard in todays world and work load that you have..........still we people can sense when a clinician gives a moment of consideration although I do know having watched films....you have deal with a very broad range of people and situations..........not easy when people abuse you back when you are kind to start with and I have no doubt get beat up all day.....
I hope your staff respects you and knows you are trying to deal with patients and fairly and kindly as possible..........I do judge people as I work with animals the same way they do.........not by what the person says but by their body English and mannerisms and tone..........I have been fooled before but my guess is that you are very genuine. I am sure your patients or at least some of them appreciate that they can be safe with you........and not yelled at or moralized for common problems many people have ..........you are supposed to be able to open up to your doctor and ask him questions...........but not all doctors are like that as we all know.............hope your day goes well...........I know you have many clients and patients and commitments.............so no worries when or if.........you can write back...........you have many demands in your life.
I never forget kind doctors or nurses. I met a very kind nurse who spend 4 hours with one elderly patient..........and have never forgotten her in 25 years.......I don't bother her but she and her team.........were so very different and very kind...........too bad the nursing association and others don't want to hear about it..........in a word she was the Pieta.......
Same with good clinicians I have known........and a new one (you ) that I will add to my list of very good doctors........
respectfully and regards,
thank you from all your patients and co workers.
Thanks for the wishes and compliments

Hi,
Thanks again for such a nice reply.
I guess I would soon sound predictable the way I have to praise they way you mention things relating to us. We as health care team, try to provide people with utmost care and support in every medical related queries upto best of our capabilities. Your compliments fill me with more sense of responsibility, as with every expectation the burden to keep up to the mark gets incremented.
Here, I would like to extend my perception about you. Most of the problems you gave faced in past including PTSD, in my opinion, were because you are a very sensitive person and you over think the people and their responses and let me add this thing that unfortunately such people tend to get hurt more easily and more intensely. I would never discourage you to be such tender and sensitive, as that really is a blessing, but I would urge you to guide this to be a guide writer as all good writers or artists has this thing in them that made them peculiar from others.
You can seriously think over the blog writing along with continuation of your basic field, or other options as these will not only help you utilize your capabilities but may also highlight many related issues, relating to social as well as health related which may also help people to get aware of many underlying issue which are usually hidden from their eyes. It may help relieve that sense of pressure which builds in when you perceive anything unique by sharing it with others. Social gatherings and hanging out with people with good hobbies can further refine your abilities.
Wishing you best prospects with your future endeavors. Good day.
