Suggest Treatment For Low Heart Rate

Brief Answer:
It's due to low Heart Rate
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic.
There are certain causes for heaviness in head. Common causes are Sinus congestion, Migraine, High BP or raised intracranial pressure.
But in your case I feel it's due to your low heart rate . Normal heart rate ranges from 60-90 . In your case its 55 which is low . The cause for your low heart rate is your BP medications which contains drug belonging to drug class called Beta Blockers.
If we can improve your heart rate by changing your BP medicines your head heaviness will disappear.
I advise you to consult your doctor and ask him to give alternative medicine to beta blockers.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .
Regards.

Dr you have not mentioned anything about my bp reading, inspite of the drugs being taen , my BP is showing as 154/78 so in case we change the med then what happens
Brief Answer:
BP also needs to be brought down
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the follow up.
Your BP is slightly elevated. It means you need a dose escalation. But same medicines which you are taking now can't be escalated else your heart rate will come down further.
Once we change you BP medicine and increase the dosage your BP and heart both will come to control.
But know one thing; change of BP medicine is not a one time process. It will be done gradually over a period of 1-2 months.
Any clarification feels free to ask.

MY DOC HAS NOW ADVISED ME TO TAKE ZAPIZ.5 , VERTIN 16, VINICAR XL 25MG , RABLET20 , TELESARTAN AM 40 MG , ROZUCOR F 10 , AS TODAY MORNING WHEN I GOT UP THE BP WAS 188/78 THEN AFTER TAKING THE OLD DRUG IT CAME DOWN TO 156/72 BUT AFTER 40 MNTS IT STARTED RISING AGAIN AND PEAKED AT 204 /98 WHICH WAS VERY PUZZLING SO DOCTOR WHAT CAN YOU MAE OUT OF THE WHOLE THING
Brief Answer:
Not happy with your Current medications
Detailed Answer:
HI XXXXXXX
Thanks for the follow up .
In my last reply I had told that your low heart rate is due to your BP medicine containing Beta Blocker and told to change to some other BP medicines which doesn't contains Beta Blockers .
But VINICAR XL 25MG is a beta blocker . I again advise you to consult your doctor and gradually remove VINICAR XL 25MG. Also Increase TELESARTAN AM 40 MG to two times a day. If BP is still not coming down ask him to start Tab Arkamin.
Kindly implement this as soon as possible, because a BP of 204/98 is extremely high and can be fatal sometimes .
