Brief Answer:
It is sufficient to take oral therapy too

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I think I can help you.

First and foremost, I would request you to enter the exact value of the Hemoglobin report, and better still upload the report itself. Also, you have stated the problem and said the oral therapy is on. I feel you wish to know whether the therapy (oral) is as good as intravenous therapy.

I would suggest continue taking iron pills, along with multivitamins. The iron injections and oral iron are effective. As you know obvious advantages are present in IV iron. But the side effects are as high. The side effects of oral iron are low, and the disadvantage is that you have to take the therapy for a longer time.

But the fact remains that if your body needs iron, it is going to absorb almost as much iron it can from the intestine while it needs the iron.

Addition of vitamins is important cause body needs vitamin B12 and folate as well to make hemoglobin.

I hope that the information helps clear your doubts.
