Suggest Treatment For Low Progesterone Levels
Question: hi im a female i just turned 30 on august .. im married 1 year 2 months.. i tried for a baby since feb 2014 with no luck .. i had a gastric sleeve operation dec 2012 .. i was told that i have low progesterone and that everything else is perfect .. so now im not ovulating because of low progesterone .. i know i should see my doctor .. but i have an appointment in 2 days so im worried .. can you please give me info about this issue. and if there is anything i can do to have a baby.. is it that serious and i cant get pregnant ? the doctor told me i need to take clomid .. i heared a lot of bad things about it .. on the other hand lots of people told me they got twins from it so im worried i dont know what to do.. and who to believe .. its very hard that i cant get a baby and have such problem im not that old to not have a baby.. i was also givien a medicine called primolut nor i dont know whats it for can u please help me

LH test / ovulation test should be done on every alternate day after 11th day of the period. Once you have got a positive result for LH surge, it means the LH levels have reached their peak and it suggests that ovulation is about to occur within 24–48 hours, giving you two days to engage in sexual intercourse.
Once the LH levels reach their peak, these levels start declining and the test can come negative after 24 hours. Once positive test in your fertile period definitely suggests an impending ovulation and you should try to conceive.
LH is supposed to start to drop right before you ovulate. Having a negative test after 24 hours further confirms that you are about to ovulate.
