Suggest Treatment For Low Testosterone Levels
Question: Hi, I have very low T (age 63) and have been on testosterone treatment (gel) for one year. My most recent blood test showed a somewhat high level of iron. Are these related and what can I do to lower iron short of stopping t treatment?
Brief Answer:
Can you please upoad the result sheets.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Low T treatment and high iron levels are not commonly reported associations. Testosterones I known to increase the number of red cells that ay cause low Iron and not otherwise.
I will like to have a complete report of this test to see how high these values are that we are talking about. They may represent some other thing and not necessarily related to low T treatment.
I hope this helps. I wish you well and thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
