Suggest Treatment For Low Testosterone Levels

Question: im thinking of starting trt due to very low testosterone levels. (196 ng) i have no luck of finding an endocronologist who takes my sporting interests into consideration. i am well educated on aas use and believe i have a good understanding of how to self medicate myself. the plan is to use 125mg of test e/c a week and see how it affects lipid levels/estrogen/test levels and adjust dose accordingly. my ldl levels are currently quite high although i do not consider myself at high risk due to also having high hdl levels due to healthy dieting. will my ldl levels be at any sort of risk at this dosage ?? i have blood tests.

I saw your blood test results and understood your concern.

Testosterone injection is used in men and boys to treat conditions caused by a lack of this hormone, such as delayed puberty, impotence, or other hormonal imbalances.

Testosterone will not enhance athletic performance and should not be used for that purpose.

Testosterone may a lead to an unhealthy change in your total cholesterol.
Some studies suggest that testosterone can lower your HDL levels, which can contribute to higher levels of LDL cholesterol. This is because the main function of HDL cholesterol is to help your body remove excess LDL particles.

So,my answer is:Yes,Testosterone replacement therapy can increase even more your level of LDL,especcially if you use anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) that have similar effects to testosterone.

from what i hypothesise could ldl be high though due to the low levels of testosterone ?? . cholesterol being the precursor of males sex hormones may be elevated due to a lack of utilisation. im not sure but thats just my idea, i cant think of any other reason cholesterol would be high. i diet healthy, excersize regularly and am not obese.

Very probably the low testo is the culpit of your high LDL cholesterol.

Hello

Yes, your hypothesis is right.
Your high level of LDL colesterol can be attributed to low level of testosterone.(If you do not have a family history of high colesterol.If family members have or had high cholesterol, you may also have it.)

In my opinion,another factor that may contribute to your high cholesterol is Cigarette smoking.(If you do not smoke,you don't have reason to have high cholesteron (apart low testo) because you are too young and you have a healthy lifestyle.

Anyway don't worry,TRT will help you to normalize your low testosterone and your cholesterol level.
