Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain
See your primary care physician!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. The most common known cause of lower back pain is that due to muscle and ligament strain. This happens we execute excessive movements beyond the range of movement or we do movements in the wrong direction.
I will like to know what you were doing when you first noticed this pain? Do you have any pain going down to the legs?
Treatment consist in carrying on with daily routines requiring less stress and taking pain medications. we usually start with advil, tylenol, etc, massage and patches as the case may require. If these measures fail to control the pain, the more potent pain medications like codeine and tramadol would be considered. this can only be gotten through your prescribing physician.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. A general physician should be comfortable addressing this and if need be he would consider a referral for specialist care after examination and maybe investigations. Let me know what your thoughts are and whether there is something more you would want us to talk about at this time.
