Suggest Treatment For Lumbar Lordosis
Question: Hi Doctor,
I am suffering from Lordosis/Swayback problem from many years due to which I have a chronic back pain from 4 5 years.
Since Lower back is curved inwards, it creates a lot of pain. Mainly I feel the pain when I sit without a support at my back or when I get up in the morning.
My question is How can I improve Lordosis. I am sure Lordosis can be cured and reversed with help of some core strengthening exercises.
Can you please tell me how to correct my lordosis and with what kind of exercises.?
Also I am planning to go to Gym so that I can lose some weight and do some back strngthng exercises.Should I go for it as when I will go to Gym, I will feel the pain in my lower back.So Is this Idea ok?

Brief Answer:
Lumbar lordosis can not be changed
Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXXXX back posture is not easy to change as it is result of your muscles tone and spinal structure. To make any difference I want to see what is the cause of this back posture. So I would suggest you to get x ray of the Dorsal spine and also MRI spine if possible .
If possible send me picture of your back.
Doing gym with out proper exercises is not advisable, as it can do more harm then any benefit.
Please send me these reports according to that we can decide about further management.
Thanks.
