Posted on Thu, 8 Dec 2016
Question: I recently had a dbl mastectomy (june 2016) reconstruction in sept 2016 and have been taking tamoxifen since XXXXXXX I have felt a lump or small nodule at my lower left ribcage that now gives me a feeling of just uncomfortable kind of heaviness and is also tender to the touch. Should i be concerned? I feel like i worry too much-dont want to be a hypcondriac but have been feeling a little anxious. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. It is unlikely to be a case of relapse

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So you have a hormone responsive tumor and so you are on tamoxifen. It is very unlikely that such tumor will relapse and more so in such a way(that is too early). However, still you can be double sure by getting a needle aspiration test done on the nodule.
Thanks and regards
