Suggest Treatment For Lump Between Testicles And Groin Area
Question: I have a lump between my right testicle and groin area but not on testicle. There is a dull ache occasionally and lower back pain occasionally on right side as well. The lump is movable and not super hard. It feels about an inch long and about a 1/4 inch wide. It is not tender to the touch. It has been going on now for 8 months. I do work out about 3 to 4 times per week if that matters. All weight lifting. An er doctor told me it was not a hernia gonorrhea. The lump is under the skin and area only looks swollen but not real noticable. No protruding cyst or acne like bump if that helps.
Brief Answer:
Needs clinical examination .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a either Epididymal Cyst or Encysted hydrocele of the spermatic cord.
However this needs to be confirmed by clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon or Urologist and Ultrasound Scanning of the Scrotum..
It is a benign cyst and does not require treatment unless it increases in size or becomes painful.
Further treatment (If required)will depend upon clinical findings and result of Ultrasound Scanning
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask me I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
