Suggest Treatment For Lump On Right Side Of Tongue

Question: I have a lump on the right side of my tongue. It's more than half way on my tongue. It's the same texture and color as the tongue. Look and feels somewhat like a bite.

I have read your query and understand your concern . As far as lump on right side of tongue is concerned this can be due to sharp cusps of posterior teeth or due to inflamed papilla ( taste buds ) . Can you upload he image of tongue in report section that will be more helpful for me to arrive at conclusion and give you proper diagnosis .
Based on details provided I will suggest you to do some home remedies :
- Do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day .
-Take multivitamin tablets for one month by consulting with local doctor .
- If any sharp cusps present on posterior teeth then consult dentist for rounding off sharp cusps .

Yes I got image of your tongue . As far as I have observed it look like fibroma on anterior surface of tongue . See Jagrod what happened is continous trauma to the tongue from bitting or chewing causes continous irritation which result in formation of mass of connective tissue on tongue which is painless . For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and investigation like Biopsy to confirm the diagnosis . After confirming the diagnosis if it is fibroma , complete surgical removal is performed using lasers . The procedure is painless . It takes about 45 minutes and stiches is placed if required . Healing takes few weeks . There is nothing to be worried whole procedure is painless .
