Question: I have a lump on my wrist just below my palm. It feels like a rubber band on a finger. This is not a result of a known injury. There is no discoloration

In mentioned location most common type of lump is a ganglion cyst. Its a kind of herniation coming from the joint or ligamentum and filled with clear fluid.
This is always benign lesion. Does not become cancerous at all.

The only problem it can give is pain. In such case it can be removed by a surgeon.
