Brief Answer:
Tonsillar enlargement

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to Health Care Magic and thanks for putting out the query . I have seen your picture it is not HPV at all. But just a tonsillar enlargement..the tonsils seems to be infected..

HPV WILL INVOLVE other mucosal areas too and even the appearance is different..so don't worry..
The enlargement might be just allergic..you can do hexidine gargles and take vitamin c for few days..it will be fine..

Still if u have any doubts, get a throat swab from tonsils done..that will clarify things.

Any further questions are always welcome.
Thanks and regards

is it harmful or a risk factor,??How far it will persist ??? I have not had any complication while swallowing etc..An ENT said there is a small wart at the back off throat it has to be removed by surgery ..she did not diagnose properly it was a word she put to me and it is 3 months now and I stay in u.s ..I don't notice any symptom ...but I get cold and sore throat due to extreme cold weather in u.s ...I thought of checking this now ...so got confused with it...
