Question : Can a non small cell adenocarcinoma lung nodule take quite a while to grow. I have been diagnosed with early lung cancer but I wonder if it can be so slow growing that it has taken three years to grow its less than 3cm in size and hasn't spread to any organs or lymph nodes

Hello dear. I have gone through the details. I understand your concern. Usually lung cancer spreads within an year to advanced stage but sometimes the tumor biology is so different that it is indolent or slow growing. That actually is advantageous as we have time for the treatment.
