Brief Answer:
Want to ask you few questions first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I have gone through all the reports you have attached. Thanks for the information.
Your mother is having right sided fibrotic (non functional) lung due to previous tuberculosis. The best treatment option is surgery only.
But I want to ask few questions first.
1. What are her main symptoms?
2. 2D Echo is done or not? (To know the status of pulmonary hypertension)
3. CT THORAX done or not?
4. Bronchoscopy with XXXXXXX analysis for TB is done or not?
Your mother needs right sided total pneumonectomy, which is very lengthy and risky surgery. So I need to know above mentioned things first, before commenting.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your mother.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Better to visit PGI XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question.
In my opinion she needs
1. CT THORAX with contrast
2. 2D Echo
3. Bronchoscopy and XXXXXXX (Broncho Alveolar Lavage) analysis for TB.
Her all symptoms may be due to TB. Either drug sensitive or drug resistant TB.
If sputum for TB is negative that does not mean that she is not having TB at present.
She may have TB at present. Bronchoscopy with XXXXXXX analysis is far better than sputum in determining TB. Same is true for CT THORAX over chest x ray.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done all these.
PGI XXXXXXX has very good pulmonary medicine department. And lung surgery is done there. So this institute will be more suitable for you.
And decision of surgery will be taken only after above mentioned investigations.
So better to consult PGI XXXXXXX
Hope I have solved your query.
