Question: I have been treated for meibomianitis three times. Two specialists and one general MD. No results. Is there treatment available to do without expensive medicines?

Both eyes since January 2017. Left eye is worse. Went to opthomologist in April. Have been using erythromycin ointment nightly and hot compresses three times a day. I have increased my fish oil and water daily. No chronic disease. Went back to same specialist this week. She prescribed two expensive prescriptions, one a steroid and one an antibiotic drop, together over $350 and I can not afford that. My symptoms include blurry vision, dry eye, eye stuck shut is am, and lots of white matter.
