The most common treatments for melasma is sun protection.
This means wearing sunscreen every day and reapplying the sunscreen every 2 hours.
Dermatologists also recommend wearing a wide-brimmed hat when you are outside.
She need to see a dermatologist because all melasma treatment need to be prescribed .
The most common treatment for melasma are :
Hydroquinone (You will find hydroquinone in medicine that comes as a cream, lotion, gel, or liquid. You can get some of these without a prescription. These products contain less hydroquinone than a product that your dermatologist can prescribe.)
Treonin and corticosteroides
Procedures: If medicine you apply to your skin does not get rid of your melasma, a procedure may succeed. Procedures for melasma include a chemical peel, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, laser treatment, or a light-based procedure. Only a dermatologist should perform these procedures.

Hi again!
Home remedies for melasma are some but I will to type any of them :
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
The acetic acid present in apple cider vinegar makes it a powerful bleaching agent, which helps remove spots and make the skin much smoother and more radiant.
Mix together equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water.
Apply this solution on the melasma spots and allow it to air dry.
Rinse it off with lukewarm water and XXXXXXX dry the skin gently.
Follow this remedy once daily.
2. Turmeric
Turmeric can also reduce the skin’s melanin and help combat melasma.
Mix five tablespoons of turmeric powder with 10 tablespoons of milk to make a paste. It is best to use whole milk because it has lactic acid and calcium that helps exfoliate and soften the skin.
Add one tablespoon of gram flour to thicken the mixture.
Apply this paste evenly on the affected area.
Allow it to dry for 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water and XXXXXXX dry with a clean towel.
