Please send pics of your face showing the lesions

Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us
From the description it seems you could be having melasma over your cheeks. The dark spots over your lips could be melanotic macule, lentigines, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation etc.
I would like to confirm the diagnosis first, so that I can offer appropriate treatment.
Please upload a clear resolution pic of your face. You may upload it by clicking on upload report/image icon which is on right side of query page.

Brief Answer:
Take few session of peels
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I have seen the attached pics.
The lesions over your face are due to melasma. With lasers, the lesions have almost cleared with few patches of residual pigmentation.
To clear these patches, I would suggest
Use a good sunscreen in morning with both UVB and UVA protection like shadowz/photostable/ansolar
Apply kojic acid vitamin c cream full face like kojivit/cosglo/kojiglo once in a day
Apply hydroquinone.tretinoin, mometasone cream in night over pigmentation only( lumacip plus cream)
Also take few sessions of spot TCA peels over the dark patches.
As for your lips, it looks like pigmented contact cheilitis is you developed some allergy or irritation over your lips that healed with pigmentation. This usually occurs due to lipsticks, toothpaste, caffeinated beverages etc. Sometimes there is preceding history or redness, burning sensation over lips that healed with pigmentation. In such cases we ask the patients to avoid incriminating factor and use a mild bleaching cream like kojic acid cream(kojivit). You may take few sessions of peels or lasers. However the result might be sub optimal as pigmentation looks deep.Discuss all about this and medication with your treating doctor.
Hope this helped.
