Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern. I have seen the attached photographs also.
To be very honest , there is no permanent cure for melasma. The pigmentation can be decreased by using various depigmenting creams. Later on, I put my patients on maintenance therapy to keep the pigmentation under control.
I would advise you to start triple combination creams containing Hydroquinone, tretinoin and flucinolone acetonide. I advice such depigmenting creams to be applied over pigmented area in night time only for period of 2-3 weeks. Alongwith application of a broad spectrum sunscreen is very important. In some patients, Anaemia and Thyroid dysfunction also lead to melasma. I would advise you to take iron supplements to correct anaemia. As no treatment actually works if it is due to Anaemia. You may revert back to me after 2-3 weeks of application of triple combination cream like Clearz XXXXXXX cream. Same cream you may apply on the forehead mark.
I hope it helps. If you have any further query, you may ask me.
Stay healthy.
