Question: my son in law was diagnosed last year with stage iv colon cancer that had spread to the liver and had small nodules in the lungs. after a year of chemo therapy the cancer has increased in his liver, lungs and is now in his stomach. The drs took out his pik line and are now giving him the "Martha Stewart' drug via iv. He is being treated at Memorial Sloane Kettering and would like to seek out a second opinion. Is it worth it and if so where might he go?

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. This drug can be given

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So he has widespread disease and first chemo has now failed. The drug you mentioned is a good option provided its being given with some cytotoxic agent.
It will provide an average survival of 4 to 6 months.
Thanks and regards
