Question: doctor, I have recently been referred to a urologist, where they have done CT scans that came back clear, they've drawn blood and all my blood work came back clear, they've done a cystoscopy as well which came back clear, all due to microscopic hematuria. They have asked me to come back in 6 months should I be concerned.
I also might add that my mother and both of my sisters and other folks in my family have microscopic.

Brief Answer:
microhematuria can be hereditary

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You have had a complete workup for hematuria and all was reported as normal. Frequently we do not find a cause for the blood. But the most important thing is not finding cancer. Since this amount of blood loss is so small it will not cause any additional problems like anemia. I would not be concerned about have the microscopic hematuria and go on in your life like normal. I do recommend doing the follow up visits to be certain about the hematuria.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns
