Brief Answer:
medications available

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I understand your concern.

You need to return to the ER if you are not better in an hr. You will need a drug called sumatriptan either orally or intravenously. You seem to suffer from a severe form of migraine. Stress itself can increase your sugars and so would many other medications. I see you are on insulin. What type of insulin and what is your dose? Please let me know. I will be glad to help.

Warm regards.

Brief Answer:
Needs further drug titration

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.

You are on medications for a variety of conditions and many of the medications are prone for interactions. Its a good decision to go to the er so that your medications can be optimised rightly. Regarding diabetes you are on a good dose of insulin. I would like to rule out an underlying infection like a urinary tract infection which could elevate the sugars.

Please check the site of insulin administration if there are lumps which may impair absorption. You will need to be on a fix dose regimen thrice a day over which you need to learn how to add additional units to tide over pre meal highs. That will ensure good control I feel. For now please take a 15 units dose of regular insulin before leaving to the er. That will help a little. You can recheck in two hrs and decide accordingly.

Take care. Warm regards.
