Question: Dear Dr
My niece XXXXXXX is being treated with the following medications. Her main symptom Was Daily Migraines. But as I stated she now is showing alarming NEW symptoms involving neurological issues such as Uncoordinated gate, constant whole body tremors, inability to think and function, unable to do simple every day tasks. She no longer remembers how to use a washing machine or dryer! She is 46 yr old. She takes the following:
DEPAKOTE 500 Mg - 2 in morning, 2 at night
TOPIRAMATE 100 mg. 1 in morning, 1 1/2 at night
BUPROPION 300 mg. (Antidepressant). 1
IBUPROFEN
BIRTH CONTROL PILLS
She has had several concussions while in the Navy and is a Pancreatic cancer survivor. She is a smoker.
Thanks for any help you can offer. I can not help but think she is over medicated but want a professional opinion

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. A neurological review and mri brain is indicated
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So with predominantly brain symptoms, a complete neurological evaluation and a brain mri is indicated. It may help to pinpoint the cause. Again as i said earlier, endocrine evaluation may be required if mri and neuro review is inconclusive. Till than continue with the drugs.
Thanks and regards
