Suggest Treatment For Mild Dizziness And Sudden Weight Loss
Question: I hear what sounds like snare drums in my head.
Brief Answer:
Need investigation
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on HealthcareMagic.
Before I give you a solution I need you to answer a few questions.
Is the sound continous?
Does anything trigger or reduce it?
Any headaches?
You mentioned about some memory issues how frequent are they?
Any dizziness?
Or nausea or visual disturbances?
Any ear pain?
Meanwhile I would say this could occur due to stress also just relax and try not to over work yourself.
Wairing for the reply before I give my recommendation
Best wishes

The sound comes and goes. I don't think anything triggers it or reduces it. No headaches. About 1 1/2 yrs ago, I started taking the tramadol. It seems that shortly after, I got very nauseous, lost my appetite for a few months, had rapid weight weight loss (about 40lbs in 3-5 months), I only took the tramadol for a short time (1-2mo). My memory has never been that good but since taking tramadol, I think of something that I need to do, start to do it, and forget what I was going to do. I have to write myself notes or I forget just about everything. I've had mild dizziness for several yrs but thought it was a side effect of my medications. No visual disurbances, no ear pain but my right ear doesn't drain the wax out like it used to. My life has always been very stressful and I work 10-12 hrs a day, 5-6 days per week. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Ok
Detailed Answer:
Hello again, it is unlikely to be drug related but cannot be ruled out also .
Hence avoid tramadol in future and if you are taking it discontinue the use .
I would recommend you to get a good ENT evaluation done.
A plain CT scan of the brain is also recommended.
Meanwhile try to relax and divert your mind when it happens thus.
If dizziness is also a worry Tab Betaserc 4mg daily should help.
Try to avoid stress and maintain good sleep hygiene .
Hope this helps
Best wishes
