Brief Answer:
Advil can be taken after meals only

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXXX

You should stop the culprit medicine that has resulted in fatty liver.
Metaxalone is a new drug with some effects on liver.
Advil is time tested drug and can be safely taken for pain and inflammation. Take only after meals.
I hope the advise will be helpful for you.

I stopped med a month ago. I am eating healthy. Walking. My only concern is this back pain with inflamation that do not dissapears, is like a burning sensation in my back that sometimes radiates to my right front rib cage. Can it be related to the mild liver steatosis. ?

Brief Answer:
unlikely due yo steatosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome back.
The steatosis is highly unlikely to cause backache albeit it cause cause a boring fullness and dragging dull ache of right side lower chest.
It is good that you have stopped the unwanted drug.
The measures you are taking are good.
Just get reevaluated by a local physician if the problem persists.
Take care.
