Brief Answer:
It may be related to cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

I have gone through the details. So a pleural effusion with a past history of cancer can well be related to it. It can only be established by a cytological examination of the pleural fluid. However, there is also a possibility of pleural fluid related to infection. In both cases, fluid examination is necessary.

Thanks and regards
