Suggest Treatment For Mild Psoriasis And Occasional Painful Swelling On Right Foot
Brief Answer:
This could be psoriatic arthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking in the history that you have given it seems like you are having psoriatic arthritis which is affecting both the spine and peripheral joints . I think you should need evaluation for the same . Get a X ray pelvis done , HLA B 27 , ESR further .
For the swelling you can take naproxen 500 mg twice daily after discussing with your treating doctor . You will be started on treatment once the diagnosis is established . I think you should discuss this with your rheumatologist . Any other query I will be happy to answer .
Take care.

Dear Sir,
Although studies say that naproxen reduces the efficacy of atenolol in lowering BP but when naproxen is taken for smaller period it is generally not an issue .You can monitor BP more frequently to see if dose adjustment is needed .
