Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
From your history, it seems like a case of chronic indigestion with gas formation and altered bowel habits. It can occur in individuals with irregular and wrong food habits, or a chronic long standing infection can be present.
If such a patient presents to me, I would suggest the following-
Dietary modification is primary. Avoid fatty, oily and junk food, take small frequent meals with more fresh fruits and vegetables. Take lots of fluid orally and dietary fibers.
Avoid alcohol and smoking as much as possible.
Exercise regularly. It enhances metabolism.
Tablet ofloxacin-ornidazole twice daily for 5 days to treat any chronic long standing infection.
Tablet normaxin consisting of clinidium, chlordiazepoxide and tablet pantoprazole-levosulpiride for 15 days to normalise bowel movements.
Tablet drotavarine if required for stomach pain.

For your case also, the above can be suggested.
You can consult your treating or family doctor about the above and get these prescribed.
Continue the above for 15 days and give me a feedback if possible.

Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards.

Thanks for your response. I guess I missed to mention that I am 32 year old male.
Just to mention I consulted with a GI and he prescribed esogress- L and VSL-3 for 30 days which I already had for 20 days till now. Also metrogyl for 3 days which I completed. Just want to ask shall I complete 30 days course of these meds and then start with your meds? Also do I have to take all the medicine you prescribed after meal?
And regarding the diet the earlier docter had suggested that I should have lots ofcurd and butter milk. Will there be a problem if I have brown bread with butter for breakfast?
Also I am just very worried that if I have colon cancer. I googled and found out some of the symptoms matched mine. Can u please confirm on that as I m very worried.

Brief Answer:
Follow as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Sorry for the late reply.

My suggestion will be to complete the previous course and then begin the new one if required.
Take pantoprazole-levosulpiride before breakfast. You can take the rest after meal. That way, you wont miss dosage.
You can have brown bread with butter milk. But avoid excess fat in your food intake, plus take small frequent meals as advised.
Your symptoms are non specific for colon CA. So dont worry. If the situation continues as such, then tests can be done to exclude it.

Regards.
