Question: 2 years ago in May I broke out with a rash that at first I thought even the Doctors thought I had Chickenpox. It never went away and stayed away. I maybe clear now but I was told I wasn't contagious that I was having an allergic reaction. I now have eczema also. Well i got involved in a relationship with a really nice guy. He developed a rash about 4 months after we became intimate. He now has been battling it for close to a year now. He was told in the beginning that he had 2 things going on...1 was mites which I believe did unfortunately come from me. It took me treating them 3 times and on the 3rd I treated them 3 times and on the 3rd time I left the cream on for about 16 hrs. That actually cleared up a big portion of my rash. He got rid of that portion also but he is still breaking out on his face, neck, back of his arms and some on his chest. We both have taken minocycline for 3 months and used mupirocun for 3 months. We even used the mupirocin in all creases as well as our noses. We have not had any physical contact since Valentine's weekend.

He doesn't see that us going to the same Dr would help.
Any suggestions?

His Dr has him using Cloderm 0.1% now.
My Dr seems to think I'm clear. I do still break out some but if I take hydroxinine (generic for atarax) I stay totally clear. If I quit taking it I may break out a little.

Can mites leave a fungus in a person's body that requires a special treatment?
