Suggest Treatment For Moderate Antral Gastritis With Patchy Erythema

Question: Hi doctor. I have been diagnosed with moderate antral gastritis with patchy erythema and los angeles grade A inflamation. My appointment with my doctor is next week. I have geral idea of gastritis but never heard of antral gastritis. I did some resarch but I am still confused. Is it just a name for general gastritis or does it specify something. I read carefully all your concerns and I understood your query.

You are reporting to have been diagnosed with moderate antral gastritis.
Antral gastritis means that inflammation is localized in antral region of the stomach.

To my opinion you should do tests for H.pylori infection since it is the major cause of gastritis.

This is the endoscopy report. Beside the fact that this is very unconfortable illnes, what are the chances to get stomach cancer? i have red the link betwen antral gastritis and stomac cancer. Thank you

With regards to gastritis don,t worry it is curable and well treated.
It's true that atrophic gastritis has increased risk for stomach cancer.
At your case you have only gastritis and not atrophic gastritis.
So, don't worry and continue with the proper treatment.
