Suggest Treatment For Movable Lump In Armpit

Question: I have a armpit lump breast surgeon sqid gland feilds are clear . Its movable and also have acne kind of spots on the same breast had 3 examinations this yr

Hi

Since you are having an armpit lump and it is movable and have acne kind of spots i would advise you to take tablet ciprofloxacin with your doctors advise.

If the armpit lump is due to infection then it will resolve within 10 days.

If the lump still persist then i would advise you to do a bilateral mammography.

If any lesion is found in the mammography then biopsy has to be done from it to rule out malignancy.

Ive already had ultrasounds on the breast and gland feilds were clear but where iconstiuosly examined my breast loads of spots come up do u think the gland could be due to the spots on breast and draining into the glands my doc has felt it and does not feel alarmed but asked me to go back in teo weeks to check it has not grown ?

Hi

If your ultrasound of breast is normal and your doc is not feeling alarmed and you are not having symptoms of continuous pain in the armpit lump you do not need to worry.

A couse of ciprofloxacin antibiotics will resolve the problem.

But if the lump keeps on growing then i will advise you to do a bilateral mammography followed by a biopsy test.
