Brief Answer:
Read below

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

I must say that is a very rare side effect with Lyrica, so I wonder if that is the cause. Some blood tests for electrolyte levels, creatine kinase and thyroid function are advised to look for other potential causes.

If another treatment was to be tried there are other options, but fibromyalgia remains a condition which is hard to treat and all treatments are effective in a percentage of patients only.

The other usual mainstay of therapy includes antidepressants of which Duloxetine is the most commonly used one at your age. Muscle relaxants like tizanidine have also been of benefit in some patients as well as dopa agonists like pramipexole and ropinirole.

Psychotherapy in the form of cognitive behavioral therapy is of help in some patients as well.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
