Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion And Persistent Sneezing

Question: Hey doctor,
Yeaterday I woke up with my nose congestion and throughout the day the day I was sneezing a lot and I had this feeling of phlemgh in the back of my throat. Today I woke up with an almost blocked like nose and feeling sweatier than usual but none if this seems to really impair me so to say like a cold of flu normally would so I am unsure if it is hayfever or not. Most colds that I have had usually start with a sore throat which I haven't had at all. Now the reason I am asking is because I usually go to the gym to do heavy weight lifting and I am not sure if I should take a break as I dont really feel that sick and I have been going the last two days. Is there anyway to test what I have got if its hayfever or cold/flu?

Brief Answer:
Antihistamine will be helpful.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms might be due to allergic rhinitis.
I would advise that you should take an antihistamine like Levocetrizine 5 mg once a day along with Oxymetazoline nasal spray for relief from your symptoms. This will help in both hay fever or cold/flu.
Drink lots of water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables to increase your immunity.
If the symptoms persists, get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an ENT specialist.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
