Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion, Left Ear Pain And Major Dizziness
Thanks
Seems to be ear drum infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having ear pain. I would like to ask you few more details.
Is there any sequence of sneezes, followed by running nose ?
Kindly get back to me with the details.
Based on your clinical details, it appears to be acute suppurative otitis media (ear drum infection) secondary to allergic rhinitis.
In case of active ear infection, dizzyness is common. Related to nasal spray, might be your spray not reaching the posterior end of nose due to deviated nasal septum or polyp.
I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get detailed ent examination (deviated nasal septum, allergic polyp), otoscopy (status of ear drum), vestibular tests (to defferentiate between central or peripheral vertigo). depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.
Mean time, continue same nasal spray, avoid water per ear (plug them with dry cotton plug during bath), avoid taking freezer products (curd/ice creams), do steam inhalation for clearing clogged nose.
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
X-ray chest, audiometry needed.
