Hello and welcome,

It is hard to sort out entirely without being able to take a more thorough history and do a physical exam, so I will just share some thoughts based on the information you provided.

Anxiety can cause sensation of waves of heat. It is due to a surge of adrenaline. It can also cause clammy hands and loss of appetite. If you think increased worries or anxiety applies to you we can talk more about that.

Acid reflux can cause nausea, and heat sensation in mid chest. I would not expect it to cause clammy hands though. You can try Zantac 150 mg twice a day to see if this helps.

More concerning would be if you are also feeling any chest pressure. This could represent your heart not getting enough blood/oxygen. It can make you clammy all over.

Going in to see a doctor in person is important if the symptoms are quite strong. But I will try to answer any questions you have.
