Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Vomiting While Having Hypotension
Question: I have had nausea and vomiting for 2 weeks. I have been on antibiotics 3 times for a root. Canal gone bad. I have had sterois for that and a knee injury. I have become dizzy and have some vision disturbance including a fall, i have lots of bruses of varIous ages. My BP has been low, 90/68 so ive skipped my linisopril until vomiting stops. I take levothyroxin and naprison until vomiting and brusing began.My coordination is variable now.

Based on the history you have shared, your symptoms are quite significant and can't be ignored, at all, and needs detailed probing specially impaired coordination can be due to low BP which might be either due to water and electrolytes loss due to excessive vomitings or due to endocrine abnormalities due to thyroid or adrenal issues so a repeat thyroid profile, serum cortisol and electrolytes may be needed.
Similarly steroids history also needs probing for adrenal issues as well as its gastric side effects can cause stomach issue which may be cause of vomiting and easy bruising can also be consequence of steroids or due to deranged coagulation profile which needs to be confirmed on blood work up alongwith complete blood count.
Meanwhile using antacids like omeperazole or pantoprazole before meals alongwith motility agents like domperidone will be helpful and replacing the lost water and salts with Oral rehydration salts should ne done. Meanhwile thyroid medications may need readjustments based on fresh thyroid profile and neprroxen may also be stopped as it can also cause bruising and stomach related side effects.
