Question: my brother has been the hospital for 55 days with necrotizing fasciitis He ha 5 surg and appeared to have beating this yesterday the did ac ands and he now has gram neg rods and strep b alph hemoltic bacteria and just developing mild sym what can you tell me

It will help to choose antibiotics. Take antibiotics which is most effective. You also need susupporting care so hospitalisation is necessary. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.

a culture was done and a appropriate iv antibiotic was started im not sure that they will operate again even though these bacteria's have recurred we live near Binghamton New York and at this time im looking for another hospital to care for him and i feel that time is of the assent He is in Lourdes Hospital can you advise me on a more appropriate hospital to care for him
