Question: I am having electrical nerve pain in foot. Dr. Has prescribed diclofenac potassium 50 mg tabs. Bottle says 1 tab twice daily. Not effective. Have taken correct dose for three days. Took 2 Tylenol extra strength 3 hours ago. Shooting electrical pain impulses approx. every three minutes. Can I increase diclofenac dose. Or any other suggestions to get through the night? Thanks

Brief Answer:
You can increase diclofenac dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Diclofenac may be increased to 150 mg/day, so, you can take another tablet if the last one was taken approximately 8 hours before.

Using warm procedures on your lower back or taking a hot bath rest after that may improve your symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
