What Is Causing The Pain In My Right Forearm And The Palm?

I m 17, male, 160 pounds, 6 feet tall. Yesterday, I noticed my hands were slightly shaky when I was holding a spoon. I ve never noticed this before, so I thought it might be a new symptom. I noticed my right hand shakes more than my left. Also, I noticed my right forearm and palm hurt. It feels much like pain usually associated with working out, but I haven t worked out for a while. It hurts more when I bend my wrist forward, or when I press on my palm. I m thinking it s nerve pain, but I m not sure at all.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be suggestive of tunnel carpal syndrome, which is a pinched nerve. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and performing nerve conduction studies.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
