Question : I just noticed this rash all over my shoulders and back. It doesn't itch or hurt but they are small redish spots less than a cm in diameter all over. I have attached pictures of them. I hope they are good enough for a diagnosis. I'm also currently recovering from a cold. What are they?

You have developed pityriasis roseae.
It's an allergic reaction.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid lotion like desonide to be applied twice daily for a week.
It is safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
