Suggest Treatment For Non Movable Lump On The Lower Jaws

Question: Hi, I am a 25 year old female with no medical history. I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. A couple of days ago I noticed a hard non-movable lump on the left side of my lower jaw (on the jaw line). It appears to be the size of a marble. About a couple months ago I had a severe toothache on that side. My dental health is not great and I think I have many cavities. It has been a long time since I've last seen my dentist. I am very concerned that this lump is potentially cancerous and will be scheduling an appointment to the doctor tomorrow. Should I be worried?

As per your complain a hard non moveable lump on the jaw line with a history of teeth infection leading to toothache can be either a swollen lymph node or tooth abscess due to progress of infection below the root tips of infected teeth..
Other causes can be a periapical cyst..

The chances of it being cancerous are less as it is present since a few days and cannot be immediately thought of cancer..
You can consult a Dentist and get evaluated and he can advise you an x ray of the area to rule out the exact cause of the lump and treat you accordingly..
If it is a swollen lymph node a Biopsy might be advised for confirmation..
