Question : I have occluded right coronary. What I is the treatmant?
Brief Answer:
If you were my patient I would recommend to try coronary stenting...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
There are three option to treat an ocluded right coronary:
1. Coronary angiography and stenting (PTCA).
2. CABG (bypass surgery)
3. Medical treatment.
If you were my patient I would recommend to try coronary stenting and if this wasn't possible than to continue with medical therapy.
Bypass is very traumatic for the patient and with a occluded right coronary arteries the profits are minimal.
Wish you health!
