Brief Answer:
You should rinse your mouth everytime you use inhaler.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
This is common side effect of inhalers.
It is due to deposition of drug on tongue.
You should always rinse your mouth after inhaler use to prevent it.
So at present, rinse your mouth with warm water 5-6 times a day.
Sometimes faulty inhaler technique can also cause similar symptom.
So please let me
1. Which inhaler you are using?
2. Is your inhaler technique proper?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Are you rinsing mouth after inhaler use?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I don't know why you are not answering completely.
I asked two questions. You answered only one.
Are you rinsing mouth after inhaler use?
If not then start rinsing mouth after each time you use inhaler because not rinsing mouth is the cause for your sore tongue.
And as a pulmonologist, I must comment on this,so commenting.
You are not taking COPD treatment according to GOLD guidelines. These guidelines are international standards for COPD treatment.
If you wish I can help you in this.
For your sore tongue issue, better to rinse mouth after inhaler use.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
