early menopause yes I have my periods ( 3 weeks),why the TA Scan was suggested due to blood clots so to look at the results you are looking at findings uterus=anteverted 9.7x4.6x5.8cm...Myomertrium no focal lesion..Cevix unremarkable...right ovary 3cc left ovary 4cc no dominant follicale or cyst on either side .....endometrium 10 mm not well defined on TA scan,Echogenic structure at the left isthmus projecting into the left side of the endometrial cavity presumably representing part of the Essure device previously inserted.none was inserted on the right side
Brief Answer:
endometrial biopsy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Sorry for delayed response.
In my opinion, at your age (perimenopausal) this prolonged bleeding points towards the risk of endometrial malignancy.
The endometrial thickness of 10mm is not normal at this age.
I would suggest you to go for an endometrial biopsy to rule out the possibility of malignancy.
Do discuss this with your gynecologist.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to discuss further.
Take care.
Thanks.
