Suggest Treatment For Pain And Burning Sensation In Abdomen
Question: My stomach feels like somebody punched me in my stomach and it burns
Brief Answer:
Could be Gastritis. Try acid reducing medicines.
Detailed Answer:
Hi. It could most likely be Gastritis due to increased acid secretion in the stomach. That is by far the commonest cause of these symptoms.
I usually advice my patients Tab Pantoprazole 40mg or Cap Omeprazole 20 mg on empty stomach twice a day half hour to one hour before meals.
If the medicines do not relieve the pain then you should see a Gastroenterologist and get an Upper GI Endoscopy done to see the condition of your food pipe and stomach.

Take care.
