Suggest Treatment For Pain And Irritation During Urination

Question: During the summers of 2007 I was doing rigorous NCC camp. Suddenly after the tiresome drills (also with the presence of heat outside) I used to feel like vomiting. Though I never vomited but always I felt an urge for that after exercises. So one day I visited the Doctors. They went through the thorough check-up. In Sonography they found that my bot kidneys consisted of several small-small cysts. They couldn’t tell the exact reasons of urge to vomit but they advised to do the Sonography tests at regular intervals (say at 2 years or so).

After that I didn’t do any that much rigorous activity and so I never got that feeling of vomiting. One or two times in between it happened but minor cases only. Now, during the start of 2014 I got blood in my urine and subsequently I got fever and felt very weak for 2-3 days (and the blood kept coming for those days at the end of urination.) It went but after two-three months again I got the same but for a day only and this time I quickly went to one of the best hospitals. They did every check-up and came up with the report that I have multiple small cysts and very small stones. They suggested if I am getting too much pain or irritation during urination, they will operate and remove the stone otherwise with medicines and water it will pass automatically. I took the precautions and went on.

Now this problem came again during XXXXXXX 2016. Blood came but no irritation and pain. And I quickly to the hospital. This time they again checked blood and urine and did Sonography. They again reported minor stones and multiple cysts. This is the complete history.

PS: Apart from this I have always been diagnosed with high BP (and little bit back pain). I like eating spicy-salty dishes. Also I regularly do some physical activity eg. swimming/badminton etc.

Diagnosed with Multiple cysts in Kidney, small stones present but the doctors are unable to get the real reason of blood in urine. Whether blood/hig Bp etc can come due toi multiple cysts and if yes then what is the treatment

Brief Answer:
Both medical and surgical procedures may be needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your query in detail.

The of bleeding in urine is renal stones and cysts.

Cysts can be associated with high blood pressure, which can in turn can cause bleeding in urine.

At this point , it's very important to get a Helical CT scan of the abdomen to accurately determine the location and size of stones and cysts.

Further management if any is largely based on test results.

Both medical and surgical procedures may be needed to treat your issue.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
