Suggest Treatment For Pain And Pressure Sensation In The Pelvic Area
Question: I am the guardian, caregiver for my 92 yr old mother-in-law. She constantly complains about terrible pressure, pulling and pain In her pelvic area. She does have vaginal stenosis. No bladder prolapse or infection. CT scan and ultra scans were negative. It is very uncomfortable for her. What else can I consider for her?
Brief Answer:
As below
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Vaginal stenosis alone would not cause pressure pulling and pain of this degree.
Are you sure there is no bladder pathology ?
Would be worthwhile to have a urinary workup by a Urologist.
You can give her an antispasmodic if it is simple pelvic muscle cramps that she is having.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
